    The Heart Of Our Restaurant

    The road from Naples, Italy was not quick or easy but, here is a genuine Acunto oven. The Acunto family has set the standard for pizza ovens for almost as long as the Margherita pizza has existed. We're so proud to be able to serve you pizzas out of this work of art! 

    Our Story

    We started an all-organic, sourdough pizza pop-up at a local wine bar in Sandpoint, ID in 2020 - Panhandle Pizza Kitchen. The events quickly grew in popularity and enough demand rose for a brick and mortar location. After years of planning and figuring out how to source the best possible ingredients the Forge Artisan Pizza is open! 

    Our Food

     Our pizzas and breads are all naturally leavened "sourdough". We import an amazing flour from a small, family-run mill between Rome and Naples, Italy for our wood-fired pizza. Our breads & Detroit-style pizzas are made with local, organic whole wheat flour and "bread" flour from that same Italian mill above. We try hard to source the best quality meat products we can; pasture raised (when available) and hormone/steroid free. We also use as much organic produce as possible. Gluten-free & vegan options are available too.

    Parking

    The public parking lot is only 2 blocks away. There is also street parking across the street from the restaurant.
